Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class, Kevin McCaughtry, hospital corpsman, Headquarters and Service Company, Chemical Biological Incident Response Force, II Marine Expeditionary Force, responded to the terrorist attack Sept. 11, 2001 as a civilian emergency medical technician. Working with so many Marines at the disaster site, he said he was motivated to become a Navy hospital corpsman.
