Passing of Rear Adm. Philip A. Whitacre, SC, USN (Ret.)

It is with deep regret I inform you of the passing of Rear Admiral Philip Arthur "Phil" Whitacre, Supply Corps, U.S. Navy (Retired) on April 14, 2020 at age 87. Phil entered the U.S. Navy and served on active duty during the Korean War. He subsequently remained in the U.S. Naval Reserve for 37 years and retired as a Rear Admiral.Rear Admiral Philip
